Frequently Asked Questions

  • Currently, we see clients in-person in the Arvada and Golden areas. Contact us and we will help you determine if in-home services are the right fit for your family.

  • We provide speech and language telepractice services statewide. All you need is a phone, tablet or computer and a reliable internet connection. We encourage parents/caregivers to be involved during the session and will provide coaching along the way! Contact us and we will help you determine if teletherapy is the right fit for your family.

  • Wild Pine Therapies LLC specializes in serving pediatric populations in the areas of speech, receptive-expressive language, and play skills. We currently serve child between 12 months and 10 years old.

  • All clients must be evaluated prior to receiving services. A comprehensive evaluation determines a diagnosis and helps to create the most appropriate, up-to-date treatment plan.

If you’ve received another evaluation in the past six months, results will be reviewed and considered. Previous evaluation documentation can be easily uploaded into your patient portal!

  • Intake forms and consent documents will be required prior to your child’s first appointment. Once your child’s initial evaluation has been scheduled, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the patient portal where forms can be completed. If you have difficulty accessing the portal, please email us at info@wildpinetherapies.com.

  • Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all answer for therapy duration. The length of treatment is dependent on many different factors, including severity of disorder, client motivation, family participation, and responsiveness to therapy. We promise to maintain consistent, open communication about current progress and next steps.

Discharge will be recommended when age-appropriate skills are demonstrated in all environments, as measured by formal and informal data/reports.

  • Keeping an eye on our language milestones, speech norms and social play development can help you identify whether your concerns might warrant services. When in doubt, taking advantage of early identification and intervention is encouraged! We recommend reaching out for a complimentary consultation to help determine whether a comprehensive evaluation is recommended.

  • Wild Pine Therapies LLC believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to services. If your child is receiving occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, or another service, we want to collaborate with the members of your team! A “consent to exchange, obtain, or release” form can be provided upon request.
